Happy 2013 Chinese New Year cum Valentine's Day!
Had a great one this year with my beloved Dummy!
It was a week's stay at his hometown for cny as usual and he gave me the best Valentine's Day present :
Car driving!
It was my first time to drive a car and its his dad's merc. *Hee*
Dum was practising his driving skill and driving me around when we passed by this big empty space near the Istana where he told me new drivers usually do their "trainings" here. It was then it strucked my mind that i would wish to try it out too! Dummy nodded his head and this then became our lil secret >_<~
Had my fun driving of cos and not to forget Dum drove me to a town called Kalai the previous day n we took several photos at the old abandoned railway tracks~ (few stories high above the big river)
Had a bit of shocked when Dum was tkeing photos for me at the railway track when we heard the rumbling sound of an oncoming train! Luckily, it was the tracks opposite us which is the NEW track! Phew! Caught us puzzled and at e same time so surprised at why these old tracks are still in use -.-!!
Nevertheless, we went back to the narrow walkway and guess what we saw? As the villagers there are all driving motocycles and this path is really narrow, two motocycles which is driving towards each other literally needs to make space by stopping down and letting the other pass first before driving off! We too, pedestrains, need to stop walking and "stick" ourselves to the side of the path for motorcycles to pass thru before we continue walking! What a great experience! Ha!
Last but not least, the happiest trip we ever has was an impromptu visitation to Dum's dad old friend's house! At the very beginning Dum was sti kinda afraid to go knock his door till I insisted then he drove back. I was happy for him that he did cos this uncle turns out to be really old, late eighties in fact. And I'm glad we visited him as Dum used to hang out with him together with his dad for fishing and hunting when he was very young back then. It's just like his old friend too, an uncle he respects since young. And i'm glad that this was a fruitful trip for the next day we brought Dum's parents out together to find this old uncle for breakfast to catch up and have them took a photo together which could be one of their best moemories in e furute :))
I really has a wonderful and touching experience this time round and hopefully there's more to come! :))
Thanks for giving me such beautiful memories, Dum. You're the best.
*muack*!!
